Flights to Uruguay

• Getting to Uruguay is becoming easier and easier with American Airlines providing a direct flight from Miami to Montevideo three times a week. For those who will be staying in Buenos Aires or have memberships with other airlines, you will fly to Buenos Aires and then connect to Montevideo, arriving about 1 PM into Montevideo, Uruguay. You may do this if you do not wish to hunt the day of arrival. The transfer to the lodge in Rio Branco from the airport in Montevideo (MVD) is about 4.5 hours. We provide a comfortable private van supplied with snacks and the host speaks English fluently.   Duck hunting in Uruguay is typically a 3, 4 or 5 day hunt. The flights are all overnight and the price ranges from $800 to $1200 roundtrip. Unlike many international airports, the airport in Montevideo is small and the airport lobby right outside of customs makes it easy to find the Uruguay duck hunting host. Duck Hunting in Uruguay-the daily schedule


• The day begins with a full breakfast and hot coffee before sunrise. Then it is off to the duck blind for some duck hunting in Uruguay.
